Koa Elementary has an awesome new resource!
Florida Memory is an outreach tool from the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services. The website provides access to thousands of documents, photographs, films and audio recordings from the collection of the State Library and Archives of Florida.

This website would be an excellent resource for students researching Florida History! Check it out today!

You can either click on the Florida Memory icon above, or visit our Learning Links page for the direct link.

Donors Choose at Koa!
meds
A number of Koa Teachers have enlisted the help of the website DonorsChoose to fund classroom and curriculum-based projects this year. In fact, through the help of DonorsChoose, Ms. Eloumari has been able to purchsae supplies for her Drama students, and Mrs. Gilbert was able to expand her Kindergarten Garden project!

So, if you'd like to help out, just click here to see Koa's Donors Choose website page. Who knows, there may be something you'd like to contribute to!

Be Medication Aware!
meds
Parents, please be advised that students are not permitted to bring or carry medication to school. All medication must be brought to the school by a parent or responsible adult who can fill out the necessary paper work, giving the school permission to administer medication to the student.

Any medication brought to school by a student will be held in the school clinic until an adult comes to pick it up.

Thank you for your help in making our school a
safer place for students!
